To do something that she feels intense about, something that took risk, something that made her stretch, best herself, and succeed - maybe gracefully, maybe not, but she did it, created the something, the someone, the art, the battle, the moment; the life. Wild Woman emanates up through that kind of joy."
Il rosso è il colore della vita, ma anche del sacrificio, del sangue, del fuoco che distrugge. È il tempo stesso che scorre, indipendentemente dal nostro agire, e che sacrifica tutto ciò che incontra, come ad esempio il tempo per la creatività e per la vita.
Per "Choose your sacrifice" mi sono ispirata a un passaggio tratto dal libro "Women who run with the wolves" (Donne che corrono coi lupi) di Clarissa Pinkola Estés, ma ammette libere interpretazioni personali.
Questo quadretto vuole essere un'esaltazione delle cose belle e di valore (i boccioli) che si ottengono da un giusto "sacrificio". 🌷🌼
